CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 6B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br />MEETING DATE: August 12, 2024 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 24-104, Approving Payment No. 4 and <br />Final, 2022 Surface Water Maintenance Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting council consideration to finalize the 2022 Surface Water Maintenance <br />Project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />On September 12, 2022, the City Council passed resolution 22-102, awarding the contract for <br />the 2022 Surface Water Maintenance Project to Arnt Construction Company, Inc. in the <br />amount of $177,400.20. Construction of the project began in winter of 2022/2023 and final <br />restoration was approved in spring of 2024. <br />The final contract amount is $166,790.20 for the 2022 Surface Water Maintenance Project. <br />Funding for the project is through the Storm Water Maintenance Fund. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 24-104, Approving Payment No. 4 and Final, 2022 Surface Water <br />Maintenance Project in the amount of $8,339.51 to Arnt Construction Company, Inc. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
