CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br />Chair Huelman called the Lino Lakes Park Board meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. on June 5, <br />2024. <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Luke Walter, 7800 Marilyn Drive, discussed the Madinah Lakes advertising video <br />and Zikar Holdings' lack of experience. Spoke about the Environmental Board's <br />May 29 presentation. <br />John Grattan, 202 Elm Street, would like a memorial park. He opposes the <br />development and moved to Lino Lakes for the small-town feel. <br />Dr. Abo Rashid Shire, 2150 Watermark Way, is supportive of the Madinah Lakes <br />development. Asked that the council follow the process. <br />Brent Shroyer, 580 Marshan Lane, declared how much he enjoys living in Lino <br />Lakes. Stated he knows there will be a development at some point but asked that <br />the City do it the right way. <br />Lori Bardd, Brooklyn Center, discussed how Brooklyn Center is the most diverse <br />community. Discussed the idea that equal rights should apply to all races.
