Dollars will be designated for <br />development of Century Farms North Park. Credit for the private park and <br />trail construction to be determined. <br />b. Trail Connections to incorporate into the design: <br />c. The future Anoka County Regional Trail along the south side of Main Street <br />should be depicted. <br />d. A connection to the future Anoka County regional trail is needed midblock of <br />the north road running parallel to Main Street. <br />e. A trail is needed along Sunset Avenue. <br />f. Extend the existing trail adjacent to 7836 Century Trail across the ditch and <br />along the power line easement to proposed internal trails. <br />g. Extend the existing trail adjacent to 71 Robinson Drive northward to connect <br />with proposed internal trails. <br />Mr. Huelman talked about how Century Farm Park has been without a park for a <br />very long time. In response, Mr. DeGardner stated that Century Farm Park had been <br />waiting ten years for development. <br />Mrs. Ballering asked how imminent Century Park North is in relation to time. Will <br />Century Park North serve the Century Farm development and the new development, <br />if approved? Director DeGardner said that a master plan will begin as soon as the <br />City receives the necessary funds. <br />Mrs. Schmidt stated Century Farm has been waiting a long time for this park. She <br />recommends taking the cash to create the park and the trail connection. <br />Mrs. Ballering made a motion for cash in lieu of land. Dollars will be designated for <br />development of Century Farms North Park. Credit for the private park and trail <br />construction to be determined. Mrs. Schmidt seconded. Motion carried 5 – 0. <br />7. DISCCUSION ITEMS <br />None. <br />10. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Gooder moved to adjourn the meeting. Motion seconded by Mrs. Ballering.
