.- <br />AUAR ITEM <br />SCOPE• <br />• <br />Kimley-horn will complete the tables and describe how the project's <br />proposed activities and how the project's design will interact with those <br />climate trends. Describe proposed adaptations to address the project <br />effects identified. <br />8 <br />Cover Types <br />Kimley-Horn will create an existing cover exhibit, and an overlay map <br />showing anticipated development in relation to the existing cover types <br />for each development scenario, if significantly different. <br />9 <br />Permits and <br />Kimley-Horn will create a list of permits and approvals that would be <br />Approvals <br />required for either of the development scenarios. Input from the City will <br />Required <br />be needed for this section. <br />10 <br />Land Use <br />Existing and Proposed Land Use will be described in this section. <br />Current and Proposed Zoning and compatibility with the current <br />comprehensive plans will also be described. Local and Regional trail <br />plans will be reviewed to determine if any existing or future trails are <br />located within the vicinity of the AUAR study area. A statement of <br />certification from the RGU that its comprehensive plan compiles with the <br />requirements set out in 4410.3610, subpart 1 will be required for this <br />section. Kimley-Horn will coordinate with the City to complete this <br />section. <br />11 <br />Geology, Soils, <br />Kimley-Horn will describe soil conditions, bedrock geology, depth to <br />and <br />bedrock, and any groundwater hazards in the area. A soils map will be <br />Topography <br />created for this section. A map depicting any known groundwater <br />hazards will be created. <br />12 <br />Water <br />Kimley-Horn will identify and describe the following, unless noted <br />Resources <br />otherwise. <br />Surface waters: <br />• Surface waters including any wetlands, drainage areas, or <br />stormwater management areas will be identified in this section. <br />• Any surface waters within 1-mile of the AUAR study area <br />identified on the MPCA impaired and special waters list will be <br />described in this section. All impaired identified for those <br />waters will also be identified. <br />Groundwater: <br />• Depth to groundwater, MDH Wellhead Protection Areas, <br />Drinking Water Supply Management Areas (DWSMA), and any <br />known wells within the AUAR study area will be identified and <br />described in this section. <br />Rev 07/2024 <br />
