CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24-147 <br />APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 16-24 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 16-24, Repeal and Replace of <br />Chapter 218 (Fee Schedule) for first reading on October 28, 2024 and second reading and final <br />passage on November 12, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance 16-24 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 allows the City to publish <br />a summary of an ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the summary clearly informs the public <br />of the intent and effort of the ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed <br />copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the <br />summary of Ordinance 16-24 in Attachment A is approved for publication according to state law <br />and the City Charter. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of November, 2024. <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Roberta Colotti, CIVIC, City Clerk <br />
