Local Water Management Plan <br />The purpose of the water management program is to protect, preserve, and use natural surface <br />and groundwater storage and retention systems and prevent erosion of soil into surface water <br />systems. <br />Spargur Estates protects the natural surface and groundwater storage with the construction of <br />a small rear yard depression. Erosion and sediment control practices will also be implemented. <br />Sanitary Sewer Plan <br />The goal of the sanitary sewer plan is to maintain the city's residents and businesses with an <br />affordable and safe sanitary sewer system. <br />The existing house is served by an 8" municipal sanitary sewer main along Lois Lane. The two <br />(2) new lots will be served by 8" municipal sanitary sewer along Arlo Lane. <br />The existing sanitary sewer system has capacity for two (2) new single family detached <br />dwellings. <br />Water Supply Plan <br />A goal of the water supply plan is to provide residents and businesses with affordable potable <br />water that is safe and of high quality for daily consumption and fire demand. <br />The existing house is served by an 8" municipal watermain along Lois Lane. The two (2) new lots <br />will be served by 8" municipal watermain along Arlo Lane. <br />The existing water supply system has capacity for two (2) new single family detached dwellings <br />Parks, Greenways and Trails <br />A goal and policy of the parks, greenways and trails plan is to continue to development and <br />fund recreational activities in the City. The City will require cash in lieu of land dedication for <br />the two (2) new lots. <br />Findings of Fact <br />Resolution No. 24-156 details the findings of fact for the variances. Resolution No. 24-157 <br />details the findings of fact for the preliminary plat. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff and Boards recommend approval of the Spargur Estates variances and preliminary plat. <br />10 <br />
