Call to Order and Roll Call <br />Mayor Rafferty called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. <br />2. Setting the Agenda: Addition or Deletion of Agenda Items <br />The agenda was adopted as presented. <br />3. Main Street Corridor Master Plan and AUAR <br />Mayor Rafferty welcomed the City committee members who were present this evening <br />representing the Planning & Zoning Board, Park & Recreation Board, Economic <br />Development Advisory Committee, and Environmental Board. <br />The Community Development Director introduced Brian Adams and Leila Bunge, <br />consultants with Kimley Horn. He stated that Kimley Horn was retained by the City to <br />lead the Main Street Corridor Master Plan and Alternative Urban Areawide Review <br />(AUAR) process. The planning area is defined by Sunset Avenue on the west, 41h Avenue <br />to the east, Pine Street on the north, and Century Trail/Carl Street on the south. The <br />area encompasses approximately 980 acres. He reviewed the regional planning <br />requirements of the Metropolitan Council for the City of Lino Lakes. <br />Brian Adams and Leila Bunge reviewed the planning process and provided background <br />information. They facilitated a question -and -answer period with the Council and City <br />Committee representatives. The discussion was focused on development, land use, and <br />design alternatives. The information gathered will be incorporated into the Mapping <br />Northwest Main planning materials. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
