Prohibition of Onsite Consumption. Consumption or use of edibles on -site is prohibited except <br />for microbusinesses with a retail endorsement. A microbusiness can obtain endorsements for <br />cultivation, production, retail sales and on -site consumption. These businesses would be <br />allowed only in industrial districts in the city. <br />Temporary Event Licenses. The law allows for temporary cannabis evets lasting no more than <br />four days. The draft ordinance establishes a "special" event application and approval process. <br />A complete application will be submitted to the City Council for consideration. <br />Low Potency Hemp Products. Currently regulated as "Cannabinoids" in City Code, low potency <br />hemp products and Hemp businesses will be registered as required by the state but not <br />included in the license number restriction. <br />Penalties. In addition to suspending licenses, the city may impose civil penalties not to exceed <br />$2,000. Each violation may constitute a separate offense. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of the First Reading of Ordinance No. 01-25. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
