DATE: <br />TIME STARTED: <br />TIME ENDED: <br />LOCATION: <br />LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />March 10, 2025 <br />6:30 PM <br />6:52 PM <br />City Council Chambers <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Rafferty, Councilmember Cavegn, Lyden and Stoesz <br />EXCUSED ABSENT: Councilmember Ruhland <br />Staff Members Present: Interim City Administrator Dave Pecchia, City Clerk Roberta Colotti, <br />Community Development Director Michael Grochala, City Engineer Diane Hankee and Interim <br />Public Safety Director Curt Boehme. <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Rafferty at 6:30 PM. <br />Mayor Rafferty provided an overview of the Rules of Decorum. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Mayor Rafferty opened the public comment period. <br />Joe Crow, 7537 Woods Edge Blvd, Lino Lakes, spoke on behalf of Centennial Soccer Club. He <br />requested Lino Park be made available for games on Wednesday nights. He reported that last <br />summer, they had four to five teams practicing at Lino Park on Wednesday nights from 5-8 p.m. <br />He stated that he believes there is more than enough parking at the site for both community <br />use at the park, and for the soccer fields. He stated that half of the players are Lino Lakes <br />residents, and the majority go to a school in the Centennial School District. <br />Mayor Rafferty stated that staff would follow-up with him regarding his request. <br />Chris Stowe 426 Pine Street, Lino Lakes, presented a report from the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District (RCWD) regarding the function and use of Anoka County Ditch 10-22-32. He expressed <br />his concern with future flooding of his property. <br />Mayor Rafferty accepted the report into the record. <br />Delight DeMulling, 875 Lois Lane, Lino Lakes, asked if the City of Lino Lakes had any projects <br />that received federal funding. Furthermore, if the city does receive funding she would like to <br />know the details of the funding. Finally, if the city has been awarded funding, has it been <br />received or is it simply allocated. <br />Mayor Rafferty stated that the City Administrator and/or Community Development Director <br />would follow-up with her regarding her questions about federal funding. <br />Mayor Rafferty closed the public comment period at 6:40 p.m. <br />Pagel of 5 <br />
