• North Metro TV reviewed the organizational chart and determined to maintain <br />the current co -executive director leadership structure. <br />• A construction meeting was recently held for the new public works facility. <br />• The May 51" Work Session agenda has a number of development project topics, <br />and as a result it is requested that the Council schedule a special work session for <br />either May 14t" or 15t" to discuss the implementation of the Citygate report. <br />The Council discussed the public works facility construction plans. <br />Councilmember Lyden questioned if a carport should be added for the police <br />department to the public works facility. <br />Mayor Rafferty stated that he preferred to keep the public works facility separate from <br />the police department carport. <br />Councilmember Ruhland asked if there was the need for a sub -station for the police <br />department. <br />The Interim City Administrator noted that the department had a sub -station at a local <br />bank in the past. He reviewed that as identified by the Council at a prior meeting, the <br />police department could be expanded to the space at City Hall that is currently leased <br />out with notice to terminate the lease. <br />Council Consensus <br />It was the consensus of the City Council to schedule a Special Work Session for May 14, <br />2025, at 6 p.m., to be held at City Hall. <br />4. Review Regular Agenda <br />The City Council reviewed the regular agenda. <br />The City Council reviewed the Building Inspector appointment scheduled for the regular <br />meeting. <br />Citygate representatives will be present this evening to provide an overview of the <br />Citygate final report for the Public Safety Department and will be available to answer <br />any questions. <br />The Community Development Director will be presenting the engineering items on the <br />agenda this evening. It was noted that there is a resolution approving a publication <br />summary as part of agenda Item 6B "Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 05-25, <br />Vacating certain street, drainage and utility easements on 701" Street and Otter Crossing <br />South". <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
