The City will plan to accommodate an annual average of 230 units per year over each 5- <br />year phasing period not to exceed 345 units in any one year. From 2010 to 2024, the <br />City’s average annual number of units is 123. This is less the allowed 230 unit annual <br />allocation. <br /> <br />The proposed 14 housing unit residential subdivision is consistent with the growth <br />management strategy. <br /> <br />Housing Plan <br /> <br />A goal of the housing plan is to maintain existing housing stock to insure a high-quality <br />environment in all residential neighborhoods. It is a policy to encourage in-fill housing <br />where appropriate. <br />Erickson Property meets the goals of the housing plan by supporting in-fill housing. <br />Economic Development <br />The 14 lot single family residential development does not negatively impact the City’s <br />economic development plan. <br />Transportation Plan <br />A goal of the transportation plan is to ensure that streets are as safe as possible. Osakis <br />th <br />Streetis a local road and CSAH 54 (20 Avenue) is an A-Minor Arterial Reliever. Both <br />streets have capacity to accommodate 14new single family homes. <br />Local Water Management Plan <br />The purpose of the water management program protect, preserve, and use natural <br />surface and groundwater storage and retention systems and prevent erosion of soil into <br />surface water systems. <br /> <br />A stormwater pond, erosion control and rock construction entrance are proposed on <br />site. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Plan <br /> <br />The goal of the sanitary sewer plan is to maintain the city’s residents and businesses <br />with an affordable and safe sanitary sewer system. The development will connect to the <br />municipal sanitary sewer system. <br />Water Supply Plan <br />10 <br /> <br />
