RECORDS <br />The Lino Lakes Police Department shall keep a daily record of all Police Department activities <br />within the City, as prescribed by the City Council. Access to Police Department records shall be in <br />accordance with the Minnesota Government Data Practice Act. <br />UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT <br />All city property issued to any member of the Police Department shall be returned in good <br />condition to the City promptly upon termination of employment or as otherwise directed by the <br />Chief of Police or City Administrator. Each member shall be responsible for and liable for each <br />item and the proper care thereof while same is in his or her possession. Uniforms and equipment <br />to perform duties will be provided to Police Department personnel. <br />UNIFORMS —WHEN WORN <br />Uniforms are only to be worn while on duty, while in transit to or from work, for court, or at other <br />official department functions or events. <br />COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER <br />A person holding the position of community service officer in the Lino Lakes Police Department <br />may, under the direction of the Chief of Police, issue citations in lieu of arrest for violations of the <br />following Chapters: 503 Animal Control Regulations, 802 Parking, 901 General Nuisance and 1006 <br />Building Numbers. <br />ADOPTED by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of May, 2025. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />BY:t;;dy <br />Rob afferty, Mayor <br />Roberta Colotti, CIVIC, <br />City Clerk <br />
