SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT UTILITY <br />Mayor Rafferty provided an overview of the Stormwater Utility history and the purpose of the <br />funds. The Charter Commission and Council discussed funding options related to stormwater <br />utilities and regulations surrounding stormwater management. <br />12. OTHER QUESTIONS FOR COUNCIL OR CHARTER COMMISSION <br />Chair Dahl stated that she asked that this agenda item be added as a time for the Council to ask <br />any questions of the Charter Commission, as the Commission had set forth a series of questions <br />for discussion this evening as part of the regular agenda. <br />Mayor Rafferty thanked the Chair for the opportunity and confirmed with the Council that there <br />were no additional questions outside of the agenda items already discussed. <br />CHARTER COMMISSION OLD BUSINESS <br />a. Approval of January 9, 2025, Minutes <br />MOTION by Commissioner Obert, seconded by Commissioner Rodriguez, approving the <br />meeting minutes of January 9, 2025, as presented. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Yearly letter to the Judge <br />Chair Dahl presented the Yearly Letter to the Judge, outlining Charter Commission activities in <br />2024, to the Charter Commission prior to submitting to the Judge as required. <br />MOTION by Commissioner Trehus, seconded by Commissioner Grattan, to approve the Yearly <br />Letter to the Judge for 2024 and authorize submission. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />NEXT MEETING DATE <br />Chair Dahl noted the next meeting date is Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 6:30 PM, City Hall <br />ADJOURN <br />Chair Dahl adjourned the Charter Commission meeting at 9:17 p.m. <br />Prepared by: Amanda Staple, TimeSaver Off Site Secretarial, Inc. <br />3 <br />
