CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.25-97 <br />SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT AND TEMPORARY LIQUOR <br />LICENSE, AMERCIAN LEGION POST 566, BLUE HERON DAYS EVENTS <br />WHERAS, the American Legion Post 566 is planning community family events as part of the <br />Blue Heron Days on August 15 & August 16, 2025 with set-up on August 14th and take down on <br />August 17th; and, <br />WHERAS, the event is being hosted at the American Legion; and, <br />WHEREAS, they have requested use of the City stage; and, <br />WHEREAS, they have submitted an application and certificate of insurance to be forwarded <br />to the State for final approval for a temporary liquor license; and, <br />WHEREAS, the permit applications and plan for the event will be required to be in <br />compliance with city code and regulations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota, that the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit and Temporary <br />Liquor License for submittal to the State for final approval, for the American Legion, Blue Heron <br />Days event, with set-up and take -down the day before and after the event. An alternative date in <br />2025 may be approved by the City Administrator in the event of inclement weather.
