This staff report is based on the following information: <br />Preliminary Plans for Lake Amelia Woods prepared by Civil Methods, Inc. dated <br />August 7, 2025 <br />nd <br />Certificate of Survey and Preliminary Plat for Lake Amelia Wood 2 Addition <br />prepared by Acre Land Surveying dated August 7, 2025 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Original Preliminary Plat and Final Plat <br />On November 8, 2021, the City Council passed Resolution No. 21-114 approving the <br />preliminary plat for Lake Amelia Woods. The preliminary plat is a four (4) lot, 10 acre <br />rural subdivision east of Amelia Lake. <br />On June 27, 2022, the City Council passed Resolution No. 22-18 approving the final plat <br />for those four (4) lots. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Zoning <br />The lots are zoned R-X, Rural Executive. One single family detached dwelling is allowed <br />per 10 acre parcel. <br />Current Zoning R-X, Rural Executive <br />Current Land Use Vacant Rural Residential <br />2040 Land Use Plan Urban Reserve <br />Utility Staging Area Post 2040 <br />Subdivision Ordinance <br />Conformity with the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code <br />The amended preliminary plat application is consistent with the comprehensive plan for <br />urban reserve development and zoning code requirements for R-X, Rural Executive. <br />Blocks and Lots <br />The original and amended preliminary plat contain four, 10 acre lots. There are no <br />changes to the lot lines, lot sizes, or number of lots. <br />2 <br /> <br />
