Administration & Finance, Community Development, Public Services and Police <br />Department Budgets <br />The City Council reviewed the department budgets, including the proposed changes in <br />line items from 2025 to 2026. <br /> <br />5. Recess / Reconvene <br />Mayor Rafferty recessed the meeting at 9:10 p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 9:17 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />6. Fire Department Budget <br />The City Council reviewed the Fire Department budget. Further staffing and equipment <br />investments for 2026 are presented in the draft preliminary budget as recommended by <br />the Citygate study completed earlier this spring. The full implementation is part of a <br />multi-year plan. <br /> <br />7. Council Discussion 2026 Budget <br />The City Council discussed the proposed 2026 Budget and Levy and requested that it be <br />brought back to the next budget work session for additional review and consideration. <br /> <br />8.
