The local streets designated for rehabilitation were determined by their <br />OCI ratings established in the City’s Pavement Management Study, and the scope verified by <br />cores. A summary of the project scope is described as follows: <br /> <br />Mill and Overlay (approximately 1.5 miles) <br />• Country Lakes Dr, Deerwood Ln and Fawn Ln (north of Birch St) <br />• Lonesome Pine Trl <br />• 4th Ave from Lilac St to Apollo Dr <br />• Terra Ct and Lea Ct and the cul du sac of Heather Ct and Meadow Ct. <br />Bid Alternate <br />• Ware Rd from Hodgson Rd to Birch St (.25 miles) <br /> <br />The project scope includes curb and gutter replacement as necessary. Gate valves will be <br />replaced within the project area if they have not been previously repaired. Based on the project <br />scope, WSB would perform the following tasks: <br /> <br />I. Prepare Final Project Plans <br />Final construction plans will be prepared indicating the project locations and plan <br />view sheets for the areas to be milled and overlaid. Surveyed topographic <br />information will be used to prepare the construction plans. Base drawing <br />information will include GSOC design locates, curb inspection, city parcel map <br />information and record plans. <br /> <br />II. Final Quantities <br />An Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost will be completed with the final <br />construction plans. <br /> <br />III. Prepare Permits, Specifications and Bidding Documents <br />WSB will assist the City in preparing permit application(s) and/or approval <br />requests and will assist the City with submitting the applications/approval <br />requests to the appropriate regulatory agencies. <br /> <br />WSB will perform an internal constructability review of the final plans, quantities, <br />and specifications. A final set of construction documents will be prepared for <br />electronic bidding. <br /> <br />Page 60 of 168
