CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25-128 <br /> <br />Declaring Certain Public Works Equipment as Surplus and Authorizing the Sale <br />by Public Auction <br />WHEREAS, the City has reviewed its Public Works equipment inventory and identified <br />certain equipment that is no longer in use, is no longer compatible with operational <br />needs, or has been replaced by newer equipment; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, retaining this unused equipment provides no operational benefit to the City <br />and incurs unnecessary storage and maintenance costs; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to declare this equipment as surplus and to <br />dispose of it in a cost-effective manner through public auction; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proceeds from the sale of this surplus equipment shall be deposited into <br />the City’s General Fund, Capital Equipment Fund, or Forfeiture Fund, based on the original <br />funding source of each item; <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that that <br />the following Public Works equipment is hereby declared surplus property and authorized for <br />sale via public auction: <br /> <br />1. Titan Pump Jack Scaffolding Equipment <br />2. Stock Tires from 2023 Cat 420XE Backhoe #275 <br />3. 84” Bobcat V-Plow Attachment <br />4. 90” Bobcat Finish Mower Attachment (2011) <br />5. Case 80” Snow Bucket Attachment <br />6. 72” Grapple Bucket Attachment <br />7. Sidney Mfg. Timberline Tree Shear Attachment <br />8. Lowe 1650 Auger Drive Unit Assembly <br />9.
