5 <br /> <br />MEDICAL CALLS – RESPONSE TIMES <br /> <br />The average response time is calculated from the time Anoka County Dispatch first assigns the <br />incident to a police unit to the time the first unit arrives on scene. The average medical response <br />times are based on data obtained from CAD and include only police responses to all medical-type <br />calls. The 5-Year average response time is 5 minutes and 31 seconds. YTD the average response <br />time is 5 minutes and 54 seconds. Current responses are on average 23 seconds longer than the <br />historical average. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TRAFFIC STOPS <br /> <br />Traffic stops are a proactive policing effort to reduce traffic crashes, deter crime, and locate criminal <br />activity. The 5-year average for traffic stops is 3,913. YTD, the agency is 1% below that average. Over <br />the past five years, the agency has averaged 1,294 citations annually. This includes citations for <br />traffic violations and other misdemeanor criminal offenses.
