<br />Park Board <br />July 7, 2025 <br />pg. 4 <br /> <br /> <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Gooder thinks it would be beneficial for the Park Board to visit the parks in the <br />future. <br />The Park Board members are planning to meet on August 7 to visit a few parks. <br />Mrs. Cutts asked whether the Park Board will receive a response from the City Council <br />within the upcoming weeks. In response, Mr. DeGardner stated that the City Council will <br />review the 2026 budget that the city staff submitted last week sometime in September. <br />Mrs. Cutts asked if a park was to be removed, would that be a cost to the Park Board? <br />Mr. DeGardner answered no, it would be a cost for the operation. <br />Mr. DeGardner stated that Behm’s Park equipment update is completed. Due to a ditch <br />realignment project, Shenandoah Park's 2025 park equipment upgrades have been <br />postponed till 2026. This year, we plan on installing the Lino Park shelter. Lastly, the trail <br />section through County Lakes Park will be resurfaced. <br />8. NEXT SCHEDULED PARK BOARD MEETING - Wednesday, September 3, 2025 <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Kusterman moved to adjourn the meeting.
