The city of Hugo took the lead on the matter with their city engineer producing a report that <br />64 determines that a shared system could make sense. The group would like to seek grant funding for <br />65 further study of the matter. <br />66 <br />67 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -22 as presented. Council Member <br />68 Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />69 <br />70 3B) Nonexclusive Gas Franchise to CenterPoint Energy <br />71 i) 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 06 -12, granting a nonexclusive gas franchise to Center <br />72 Point Energy; <br />73 ii) Resolution No. 13 -19, summarizing Ordinance No. 06 -12 for publication purposes <br />74 <br />75 Administrator Karlson explained that the ordinance, which has previously been approved for first <br />76 reading, would grant a nonexclusive gas franchise to CenterPoint Energy for 20 years. It includes no <br />77 franchise fee but allows for that option in the future. He is recommending approval of a second <br />78 reading and adoption of the ordinance. <br />79 <br />80 Council Member Roeser moved to waive the full reading of the ordinance. Council Member Rafferty <br />81 seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />82 <br />83 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve the 2nd Reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 06 -12 <br />84 as presented. Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. <br />85 <br />86 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -19 as presented. Council Member <br />87 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />88 <br />) 89 <br />2 <br />
