CITY COUNCIL <br />STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM A. <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Roberta Colotti, City Clerk <br /> <br />MEETING DATE November 20, 2025 <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: Certify the Results of the Lino Lakes City Council Member Recount <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The City received a request to conduct a recount of the November 4, 2025, Municipal General <br />Election for the office of city council member by candidate Dale Stoesz. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Canvass Board certified the results of the November 4th Municipal Election on November <br />10, 2025. Candidates then had a seven-day period to file a request for a recount. Candidate <br />Stoesz requested a recount and, based on the vote totals, the recount is to be publicly funded. <br />The recount has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 19th at 9 a.m. at the Anoka <br />County Government Center and is open to the public to attend.
