CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 7D <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee PE, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: November 24, 2025 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 25-162, Adopting Assessments, Slater <br />Addition <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />_______________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration to adopt assessments for the Slater Addition <br />Development pursuant the Development Agreement for the project. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The City Council approved the Development Agreement for Slater Addition dated January 28, <br />2025. The Agreement provides for the assessment of trunk water, sanitary sewer, and surface <br />water fees. <br /> <br />The total amount to be assessed for Slater Addition is $60,574.00. In the above referenced <br />Development Agreement, the developer has waived any and all procedural and substantive <br />objections to the special assessments. <br /> <br />The developer has reviewed and approved the assessments. Attached is the proposed assessment <br />roll. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 25-162, Adopting Assessments, Slater Addition. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
