COUNCIL MINUTESNovember 25, 2013 <br />DRAFT <br />st <br />Council Member Roeser moved to approve the 1Reading of Ordinance No. 11-13 as presented. <br />135 <br />Council Member Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />136 <br />137 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />138 <br />139 <br />6A)Resolution No. 13-124, Approving Final Payment for the 2013 Street Overlay Project <br />– <br />140 <br />City Engineer Wedel reviewed this year’s overlay project area. He noted that the project contractor <br />141 <br />has finished the work and is requesting a final payment. He reviewed some small changes and <br />142 <br />impacts on the final cost. The project did remain within the original estimated budget. Council <br />143 <br />Member Rafferty asked about the life expectancy of a road that has been overlaid and Mr. Wedel said, <br />144 <br />with continued maintenance such as crack and seal, the road should last an additional 20 to 30 years. <br />145 <br />146 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No.12-134 as presented. Council Member <br />147 <br />Stoesz seconded the motion.
