Park Board <br />October 1, 2025 <br />pg. 2 <br /> <br /> <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Gooder asked what the 2026 budget is. Mr. Huelman stated it could be $180,000 to <br />$270,000. <br />Mr. Huelman asked Rick DeGardner, Public Service Director, about the status of the Lino <br />Park Shelter and the park equipment for Shenandoah Park. Mr. DeGardner replied that <br />the Lino Park shelter has been started and should be completed this fall. Shenandoah <br />has been delayed until the summer of 2026 due to a surface water management <br />project. <br />Mr. Huelman explained the Existing Park Assets Worksheets to the new members of the <br />Park Board. <br />The Park Board discussed which park equipment and amenities need to be updated or <br />added. <br />Park Board recommendations for 2026 are new park equipment for Shenandoah Park, <br />Pheasant Hills Park, and Highland Meadows Park. Also recommend sandblasting the <br />shelters at Highland Meadows Park, Behm’s Park, and Clearwater Park. Update Marshan <br />Park in 2027. <br />8.
