CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25-179 <br />AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH TUSHIE <br />MONTGOMERY ARCHITECTS TOWN CENTER SOUTH MARKET STUDY AND <br />MASTER PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City's EDA owns 9 acres of property on the SE quadrant of 1-35W and <br />Lake Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to update the master plan for the area including land west of <br />Lake Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the study will help to: <br />• Align development with market, community priorities and the Council's strategic <br />plan <br />• Position the City to attract new investment and expand the tax base <br />• Provide a roadmap for integrating civic, commercial, and recreational uses. <br />• Enhance the Rookery's position as a community hub and asset. <br />WHEREAS, Tushie Montgomery Architects has submitted a proposal in partnership with <br />Maxfield Research and Consulting to prepare said Market Study and Master Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that <br />the professional services agreement with Tushie Montgomery Architects in partnership with <br />Maxfield Research and Consulting for the Market Study and Master Plan in the amount of <br />$37,800 is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of December, 2025. <br />Rol Ra ferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Roberta Colotti, CIVIC, City Clerk <br />
