P83 <br />Subd. 5. R -3, Medium Density Residential District. <br />A. Purpose. This district is intended to provide setting for multiple family structures of <br />up to eight (8) dwelling units per building in areas that have good thoroughfare <br />access, have proper relationship to other uses, and are accessible to major activity <br />centers, recreation areas and shopping areas. No land shall be zoned R 3 unless <br />Land to be zoned R -3 shall be served with public sanitary sewer and water; shall be <br />in a Medium Density Residential land use category according to the comprehensive <br />plan; and development density shall be consistent with that and use category. <br />B.
