P25 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12 -32 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF <br />VLAWMO JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the cities of Gem Lake, Lino Lakes, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights, and <br />White Bear Lake and the Township of White Bear have entered into a Joint Powers Agreement <br />to meet the requirements of the Metropolitan Surface Water Management Act of 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties have agreed that it is reasonable, appropriate, and in the best <br />interests of the public to extend the Agreement until December 31, 2016. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes, Minnesota that Section IX of the Agreement be amended to read: "Each member agrees <br />to be bound by the terms of this Agreement until December 31, 2016." <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of April 2012. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
