9. Making false or misleading statements while conducting City business, or falsifying <br />timesheets, reports, records, or documents. <br />10. Excessive tardiness or absenteeism, or abuse of leave. <br />The particular dismissal, demotion or suspension shall be based on the facts and circumstances <br />involved. The City may take disciplinary action while pursuing criminal prosecution against an <br />employee. <br />9.4 Severance Pay <br />An employee who has completed 10 years of service with the City and who leaves employment <br />in good standing shall receive severance pay equal to 50 percent of the employee's current hourly <br />pay rate.
