P17 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12 -65 <br />AUTHORIZING SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br />FOR MILLER'S ON MAIN TENT EVENT <br />WHEREAS, Chad Wagner of Miller's on Main has submitted an application for a special <br />event permit a tent event to be held on August 17 & 18, 2012, at the business at 8001 Lake <br />Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with previous approvals, and recognizing that successfully <br />implementing an event of this type requires ongoing communication and instruction, staff <br />recommends that conditions of approval be attached and incorporated into this resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has expressed a willingness to be bound to the conditions <br />recommended by staff (Attachment A) and to continue to work with staff to address <br />additional concerns which may arise; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department and the Centennial Fire District has reviewed <br />the application and event plans; and <br />WHEREAS, proof of general liability and liquor liability insurance has been submitted by <br />the applicant; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council authorizes issuance of a special event permit to applicant Chad Wagner <br />of Miller's on Main for events on August 17 and 18, 2012 subject to the attached conditions <br />(Attachments A) <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of July, 2012. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />AT 1ES T: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />• <br />
