• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 2A (iv) <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Al Rolek <br />MEETING DATE December 10, 2012 <br />TOPIC Consideration of adopting Resolution 12 -125 adopting the <br />2013 Recreation Fund Operating Budgets <br />VOTE REQUIRED Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council has reviewed the proposed 2013 Recreation Fund Operating Budgets during their budget <br />work sessions. The budget being presented for approval has not changed since the work session. The <br />Recreation Fund is a special revenue fund and operates from revenues collected from recreation fees. No <br />part of the tax levy is used to finance Recreation Fund operations. A transfer to the General Fund is <br />budgeted to offset fixed costs. The budget for 2013 estimates that a surplus will be realized in this fund. <br />It has been the practice of the City Council to adopt the Recreation Fund Operating budgets by resolution. <br />Staff recommendation is to adopt Resolution 12 -125 adopting the fmal 2013 Recreation Fund Operating <br />Budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends adoption of Resolution 12 -125. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Resolution 12 -125. <br />A -5 <br />
