• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 3 A <br />STAFF MEMBER Daniel Tesch, Director of Administration <br />DATE 14 February 2005 <br />SUBJECT Custodian Percentage in the Budget <br />VOTE REQUIRED 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Last year, the council approved a budget that included moving our custodian from a <br />100% fte (full time equivalent) to 75 %. Wayne's departure has caused us to re-evaluate this <br />position. It is the recommendation of the Public Services Director that this position once again <br />be considered a full time employee. Rick will amend his depal lment budget (ie. adjustment in <br />temporary salaries) so that this adjustment will have no affect on the overall budget. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Authorize changing the custodian position from 3/4 time to full -time. <br />2. Keep the custodian position as it is. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Number One. <br />
