CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -25 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SOLICITOR'S / PEDDLERS LICENSE <br />FOR MINNESOTA ACORN <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Chris Saffert, director of Minnesota ACORN has submitted a solicitors <br />/ peddlers application to the City Clerk's office ; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Chris Saffert of Minnesota ACORN has complied with all of the <br />provisions of Chapter 612 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary <br />license for a non - profit organization; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department is conducting a background <br />investigation as required; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the request for Minnesota ACORN and authorizes them to solicit door -to -door <br />in the City of Lino Lakes for a period of six (6) months, pending the results of the <br />background investigation, and subject to all the conditions and provisions of the Lino <br />Lakes City Code, Chapter 612. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of February, 2005 <br />ATTEST: <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />
