Water Operating <br />Water Operating is responsible for providing low cost, safe, efficient supply of municipal <br />water. The City operates five wells and two water towers. There are approximately <br />4,417 connections. All costs are paid for with user fees. This non -cash <br />expense has a major impact on water system operations and must be considered in <br />adequately funding these operations. For 2013, and thereafter, 30% of the Office Tech <br />II position will be allocated to the Enterprise Funds. The amount will be split equally <br />between the Water and Sewer Funds.
