CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -89 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEVELOPMENT AND <br />IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMMUNICATION AND CITIZEN AWARENESS <br />PLAN AND ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH SPRINGSTED, INC., <br />PARTNERING WITH HIMLE HORNER <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has prepared a Pavement Management Program to <br />guide the maintenance and reconstruction of its streets; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is required by its Charter to hold a referendum for street <br />improvement projects which are to be partially assessed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary to develop and implement an effective <br />communication plan to inform voters of the Pavement Management Program and <br />proposed street improvement projects to be included in the November, 2005 referendum; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Springsted, Inc. partnering with Himle Horner, has submitted a proposal to <br />provide services to the City of Lino Lakes to prepare and implement a Communication <br />and Citizen Awareness Plan to inform voters of the Pavement Management Program and <br />proposed street improvement projects to be included in the November, 2005 referendum. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby approves the proposal and contract with Springsted, Inc. partnering with Himle <br />Horner to develop and implement a Communication and Citizen Awareness Plan for the <br />Pavement Management Program and proposed street improvement projects scheduled for <br />the November, 2005 referendum. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of June 2005. <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />23 <br />John J.
