The surface of all signs must be repainted at least once every <br />two (2) years or whenever necessary as determined by inspection by Zoning <br />Official to prevent the sign surface from becoming unkempt in appearance. When <br />any sign is removed, the Zoning Official shall be notified and the entire <br />surrounding area shall be cleared of all debris and unsightly projections and <br />protrusions. <br />N. Signs which become unsafe or unkempt in appearance shall be repaired or removed <br />by the licensee upon notification by the Zoning Official. <br />O. The source of light for any sign must be indirect or diffused and shall not be <br />directed into any adjoining residential district. <br />P. Real estate development signs or construction site signs may be erected in <br />compliance with the requirements of the temporary sign table. Section IV. <br />paragraph EE.providing they do not exceed one hundred (100) square feet of area, <br />are not more than .fifteen (15) feet above grade; and not within one hundred (100) <br />feet of an existin <g residential structure. <br />Q. <br />Directional signs up to four (4) square feet are allowed up to ten (10) feet above <br />grade provided they are not erected adjacent to any residential streets. <br />• R. Temporary real estate signs advertising the sale of individual residences may be <br />erected in compliance with the requirements of the temporary sign table. Sign permits are required for all signs unless specifically stated otherwise.
