completed, will be filed in the office of the Anoka County Highway Depailinent (herein after collectively <br />referred to as "Preliminary Study ") <br />II. METHOD <br />The City shall provide all engineering services for the Preliminary Study in conformance with State <br />Aid and County standards. <br />III. COSTS <br />A. The contract cost of the work, or if the work is not contracted, the cost of all labor, materials, <br />and equipment rental required to do the work shall constitute the "actual costs" and shall be so referred to <br />herein. "Estimated costs" are good faith projections of costs which will be incurred for the Preliminary Study. <br />Actual costs may vary from the estimated costs and actual costs are what the parties are responsible for. <br />B. The estimated cost of the Preliminary Study is $170,504.00. Participation in the Preliminary <br />Study cost is as follows: <br />1. The County agrees to contribute Thirty-three percent (33 %) to the cost of the <br />Interchange Study. The estimated total cost of the Preliminary Study is $ 22,500.00 as shown in Exhibit A. <br />The cost to the County is $7,425.00. <br />2. The County agrees to contribute Fifty percent (50 %) to the cost of the Preliminary <br />Design and Project Memorandum. The estimated cost of the Preliminary Design and Project Memorandum is <br />$148,004.00 as shown in Exhibit B. The cost to the County is $74,002.00. <br />C. The City and County each agree that the allocation of all other costs to reconstruct the <br />interchange including final design engineering, right of way acquisition, construction and construction <br />engineering shall be determined under separate agreements. <br />D. The County shall pay to the City the County's portion of the Preliminary Study within thirty <br />(30) days after receipt of a voucher containing such information as the County may require, representing that <br />payments have been made by the City to the Engineer, SEH, Inc. for services. <br />IV. TERM <br />This Agreement shall continue until terminated as provided hereinafter. <br />V. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS <br />All funds disbursed by the County or City pursuant to this Agreement shall be disbursed by each <br />entity pursuant to the method provided by law. <br />VI. CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES <br />All contracts let and purchases made pursuant to this Agreement shall be made by the City and <br />County in conformance to the State laws. <br />VII. STRICT ACCOUNTABILITY <br />A strict accounting shall be made of all funds and report of all receipts and shall be made upon <br />request by either party. <br />- 1 0 9 - <br />
