CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -135 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING A PETITION AGAINST IMPROVEMENTS, SHENANDOAH <br />AREA. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has received a petition from residents the <br />Shenandoah Area against the reconstruction of the streets and installation of the <br />watemain in accordance with the provisions of the Lino Lakes City Charter, Section 8.04 <br />and Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to terminate the Shenandoah Area Improvements <br />Project, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 of the Lino Lakes <br />City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That a petition against the Shenandoah Area Improvements Project has been <br />received and verified. A majority of owners have signed this petition, therefore <br />per City Charter policy, Council shall not make such improvement. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of September, 2005. <br />John J.
