• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -144 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF THE I -35E CORRIDOR <br />FINAL ALTERNATIVE URBAN ARE AWIDE REVIEW <br />'WHEREAS, the northeast portion of the City of Lino includes identified growth areas, <br />existing rural land uses, existing commercial uses, the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes <br />Regional Park Reserve, and the I -35 E, I -35 W, and County Road 14 transportation <br />corridors; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) process gives the City the <br />opportunity to assess the impact of potential development on the area's natural resources <br />prior to receiving and considering individual development proposals for approval; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, as the Responsible Governmental Unit, authorized the <br />preparation of an AUAR with Resolution 05 -51; and <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared a Draft Alternative Urban Areawide Review (DAUAR) <br />document and the City Council authorized distribution of the I -35E Corridor draft AUAR <br />for Public Comment with Resolution 05 -85; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City received comments and has prepared responses to substantive <br />comments; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has prepared a mitigation plan to prevent potentially significant <br />impacts from occurring from specific projects within the AUAR area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes distribution <br />of the I -35E Corridor Final Alternative Urban Areawide Review to persons on the EQB's <br />distribution list as well as to any persons who commented on the Draft AUAR, in <br />accordance with MN Rules 4410. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this day of <br />2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />Jean Viger, Deputy Clerk <br />John J.
