• <br />• <br />• <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND: <br />AGENDA ITEM 6D <br />Mary Alice Divine <br />10/24/05 <br />I <br />Ordinance No. i -05: First Reading offering the sale <br />of a parcel of and to the Chain of Lakes YMCA <br />3/5 <br />On June 16, 2005 the City Council entered into a development agreement with <br />the YMCA of Greater Saint Paul, wherein the City agreed to convey the 6.72- <br />acre parcel of land in the Legacy at Woods Edge project for the construction of a <br />YMCA. According to the City Charter, a sale of city - owned land must be <br />conveyed by ordinance. The ordinance will be in effect late December. <br />The YMCA has submitted a site plan for City approval, which is scheduled for <br />consideration at the November 9, 2005 Planning & Zoning Board meeting. The <br />details of the financing arrangements will be brought to the City Council in <br />December. <br />OPTIONS: <br />11 <br />1. Approve the First Reading of Ordinance No.-f11-05 <br />2.
