Most policies use an hour -by- <br />hour transfer approach. An alternative is to convert hours based on pay. This addresses <br />the disparity in wages that may exist between employees involved in the transfer. <br />Other numerical standards in the policy have been highlighted as these values vary <br />between policies. The draft policy contains the most common or average standards <br />observed in other policies. <br />Requested Council Direction <br />Staff is seeking direction as to how to proceed with this policy. It has been placed on the <br />agenda for the regular meeting. Minor revisions can be made in the interim and it can be <br />acted on Monday evening.
