• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 3C <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Dan Tesch, Director of Administration <br />MEETING DATE: 10 January 2011 <br />TOPIC: Conflict of Interest <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Earlier this fall, the City Council met with the Charter Commission for a joint meeting to <br />discuss items of mutual interest. At this meeting, the Charter Commission proposed a <br />Conflict of Interest statement be added to the City Council's Code of Conduct. The <br />Council has since added a conflict of interest statement to their Code of Conduct and <br />has requested the City Code be amended in order for this state to apply to all city <br />boards and commissions. The attached code amendment accomplishes this goal. <br />This is the 2 "d reading and will require a roll call vote <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve the attached code amendment <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Code Amendment <br />
