• <br />AGENDA ITEM 1K <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Kent Strege, Chief of Police <br />MEETING DATE: January 24, 2011 <br />TOPIC: Approving the Lino Lakes Police Department's <br />participation in the DWI Task Force <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simply Majority <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety has awarded the <br />law enforcement agencies of Anoka County a grant for the period of October 1, 2010 <br />through September 30, 2011. The Blaine Police Department has been designated to <br />execute the agreements and amendments as are necessary to implement the project <br />on behalf of the Lino Lakes Police Department. <br />• OPTIONS <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 11 -09, Authorizing the Lino Lakes Police Department to <br />enter into a grant agreement to participate in the DWI Task Force. <br />2.
