• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 1F <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: February 14, 2011 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 11 -19, Authorizing <br />the issuance of a special event permit for <br />an ice golf event at Trapper's Bar & Grill <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Jeffrey Moore, owner of Trapper's Bar & Grill, 6810 Lake Drive, has scheduled a <br />special event for Saturday and Sunday, February 26 and 27, 2011. The event <br />plans include a snow golf course on adjacent Rice Lake with beverages and a <br />recreational fire on the back parking lot. This is the second year that Trapper's <br />has sponsored the event. <br />Mr. Moore has submitted to the City an application for a special event permit. <br />The application has been reviewed by staff, including the police and fire <br />departments, and the applicant has been provided with a list of safety conditions. <br />The applicant has agreed to comply with the conditions and to address any other <br />safety considerations that may arise. <br />Background information on the applicant is on file at City Hall. <br />Therefore, staff is presenting for city council consideration a resolution <br />authorizing the issuance of a special event permit to Trappers Bar & Grill. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1.
