• <br />• <br />• <br />LINO LAKES DRAFT CITY VALUES <br />After discussion, the Council ranked the values above and included several others to come up with the <br />following list of key values for the City of Lino Lakes. The number indicates the number of times that <br />value was chosen by the Council. <br />Ranked Council Values <br />5 Family Friendly: We are a community that has it all for families. <br />4 Respect: Welcoming all views- citizens, staff, council, key stakeholders in delivering services. <br />3 Environmentally conscious: Protecting natural amenities, charming. <br />3 Independence: Mindful of freedom, self sustaining as a City. <br />2 Balance: Self sustaining while maintaining environmentally charming. Balancing the needs of the <br />community with the needs of the City. <br />2 Recreation: We have parks, trails, an the YMCA. <br />1 Agility <br />1 Vision <br />1 Warmth <br />1 Economy <br />Council & Staff Values <br />Safety: Providing a safe community for ail. <br />Balance: the needs of all residents with the greater good for the Community as one. <br />interdependence: a balance of working with others and standing independently as a City. <br />Creativity: reinventing ourselves <br />Connected: with residents and key stakeholders <br />Leadership: Working together to lead the City into the future. <br />Recreation <br />Action: During a future Work Study Session, review the list of City values and chose 6 or 7 that <br />represent the City of Lino Lakes. Next, define each value as a team. Finally, in your actions <br />and decisions, live your values. <br />
