Council Member <br />Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />6E) Resolution No. 11 -61, Preparation of a Professional Services Agreement with WSB and <br />Associates — Community Development Director Grochala recalled that last year the council directed <br />staff to begin a request for proposals process for delivery of city engineering services. An interview <br />process resulted in three firms for final consideration. The council has selected the firm of WSB, Inc. <br />for a contract. Staff is therefore requesting authorization to negotiate and prepare an appropriate <br />agreement for future council consideration. <br />Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 11 -61 as presented. Council Member <br />O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. Council Member <br />Rafferty abstained from voting. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />There was no Unfinished Business. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />The council recognized City Finance Director Rolek and his staff for the city's receipt of the <br />excellence in financial reporting award. The award has been received for ten years in a row. Mr. <br />Rolek and his staff also guided the city through a successful audit process and to recognition as a <br />financially sound city. <br />COMMUNITY CALENDAR <br />Monday, June 27 <br />4. Monday, June 27 <br />Community Calendar— A Look Ahead <br />June 14, 2011 through June 27, 2011 <br />5:30 pm, Community Room Council Work Session <br />6:30 pm, Council Chambers City Council Meeting <br />ADJOURN /CLOSED MEETING <br />There being no further business at 7:00 p.m. Council Member Gallup moved to adjourn to a closed <br />session being held to discuss labor negotiations. Council Member Rafferty seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />The council reconvened in the City Hall Council Work Room for the closed meeting.
