P30 <br />AGENDA ITEM 3 Bii <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />DATE: December 12, 2011 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 11 -130, Summary of Ordinance <br />No. 22 -11 for publication (2012 Fee Ordinance) <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 4/5 vote <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Ordinance No. 22 -11 establishing 2012 fees will be considered for second reading and approval <br />by the city council 011 December 12, 2011. Due to the length of this ordinance, if the council <br />approves the ordinance, staff is requesting authorization to publish the ordinance in a summary <br />form. Minnesota Statutes, Section 412.191 allows for summary publication when appropriate; a <br />copy of the summary is attached to Resolution No. 11 -130. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. 10 -114, Authorizing Summary <br />Publication of Ordinance No. 22 -11 (the 2012 City Fee Schedule). <br />• <br />• <br />
