The City can extend it <br />beyond that, if necessary. Staff plans to complete revisions to the subdivision and zoning <br />ordinances before the expiration date to avoid the need for an extension. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF CITIZEN BOARDS <br />• The Environmental Board recommended approval of the moratorium at its November 28 <br />• <br />meeting. <br />The Planning & Zoning Board conducted a public hearing on the moratorium ordinance on <br />December 12. The P & Z recommended, on a 5 -1 vote, to approve the ordinance establishing the <br />moratorium. The Board included a strong recommendation that the City complete the necessary <br />ordinance revisions within the one -year period to avoid a need to extend the moratorium. <br />The Economic Development Advisory Committee recommended approval of the moratorium at <br />its January 3 meeting. <br />OPTIONS <br />1.
