AGENDA ITEM 7D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Michael Grochala <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: February 11, 2002 <br />TOPIC: Appointment of Development Regulations Task <br />Force (DRTF) members <br />BACKGROUND: <br />As part of the Zoning/Subdivision Ordinance Update process, the council <br />established the Development Regulations Task Force (DRTF). The DRTF is <br />comprised of two members from the Planning & Zoning Board, Environmental <br />Board, and the Economic Development Advisory Board. <br />At their respective meetings in January, the boards selected representatives for <br />appointment, by the council, to the Task Force. The following board members <br />were nominated: <br />Environmental Board <br />Amy Donlin <br />Rod Kukonen <br />Alternate: Nikki Schneider <br />Planning & Zoning Board <br />Jamie Schaps <br />Michael Hyden <br />Alternate: Sharon Lane <br />EDAC <br />Julie Jeffrey - Schwartz <br />Bill Hicks <br />Alternate: Fred Chase <br />The DRTF by -laws require that the City Council appoint members to the Task <br />Force upon nomination by the respective boards. Alternates were selected in <br />the event that an appointed board member is unable to fulfill the term of <br />appointment. Alternates will be provided all information submitted to the Task <br />Force members. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends appointment of the nominated board members <br />• <br />
