REFERENDUM INFORMATION FOR:
• NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS
• RECREATION COMPLEX
• TRAILS
EFERENDUM CHEDULED.. OR PRIL
On Saturday, April 27th, Lino Lakes residents will have the opportunity to vote on an $8.6 million
bond issue that would finance improvements to 16 neighborhood parks, construction of a 67 acre
recreation complex, and the construction of trails.
The proposal is based on many years of planning and citizen input on how the city can best meet
the recreation and leisure needs and desires of the community. The improvements proposed are
an investment in the community to improve our quality of life by providing better neighborhood
parks, access to a major recreational facility, and additional community trails. Many Lino Lakes
residents have expressed a desire for recreation facilities comparable to those in other communities.
For more information on the proposal to be decided in the special April 27th election, read on. If
your questions are not completely answered, please contact Rick DeGardner at 651- 982 -2444. More
information can also be reviewed at the city's web site: www.ci.lino - lakes.mn.us
